Now a days the number of users in cloud computing are increasing enormously due to its advantage of providing flexible storage requirement. Due to the high volume and velocity of big data, it is an effective option to store big data in the cloud Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) is a capable technique to ensure the end-to-end security of big data in the cloud. However, the policy updating has always been a challenging issue when ABE is used to construct access control schemes. A trivial implementation is to let data owners retrieve the data and re-encrypt it under the new access policy, and then send it back to the cloud. This method, however, incurs a high communication overhead and heavy computation burden on data owners.

Data mining, the extraction of hidden predictive information from large databases, is a powerful new technology with great potential to help companies focus on the most important information in their data warehouses. In this paper, we propose an idea for monitoring and grouping the events that occur in tweet streams. This may help us to scour databases for hidden patterns, finding predictive information that experts may miss because it lies outside their expectations. We capture the events using four operations (create, absorb, split and merge). The posted tweet is grouped by a keyword in that post. When a tweet is posted it is compared by another post and forms a group using the words in the tweet. In addition, we also find the nearest neighbour who lies in the similar line based on the tweets posted by them. Moreover, we propose a novel event indexing structure, called Multi-layer Inverted List (MIL), to manage dynamic event databases for the acceleration of large-scale event search and update. Extensive experiments have been conducted on a large-scale real-life tweet dataset. The results demonstrate the promising performance of our event indexing and monitoring methods on both efficiency and effectiveness.

The proposed system design eliminates the human involvement in electricity maintenance. Internet of things (IOT) is the network of physical objects or “things” embedded with electronic software, sensors and connectivity to enable objects to collect and exchange data.IOT based automatic meter reading, or AMR, is the technology of automatic collecting data energy meter and transferring the data to central data base for billing or analyzing. The internet is connected to meter and it counts the pulses from it and displays it over the LCD display. Also the current drawn by the load is calculated by current transformer which is connected in series with the load which will be displayed on the LCD. This data is then transmitted to the server unit at MSEB .The data is received by internet and it is displayed over the LCD. Whenever the key is pressed microcontroller will send sms through internet to transmitter to get the meter and current readings. The meter reading can be obtained at zero cost.

Security in the computer is largely supported by passwords for authentication process. Alphanumeric passwords still remain as the most common Authentication method. This conventional authentication method has been shown to besusceptible security threats such as phishing attack, brute force attack, dictionary attack, spyware attack etc. To overcome the vulnerabilities of traditional methods, a numerous graphical password authentication systems have been designed. These graphical passwords are usually seen as complex and time consuming. Furthermore, the existing graphical passwords are susceptible to spyware and shoulder surfing attacks. In this paper we propose this 2 step random coloured grid graphical password scheme to abolish the above mentioned well known security threats. Considering the drawbacks of the existing graphical password systems, we have proposed a robust graphical password scheme, which is highly adaptable for traditional desktop systems, smart phones and other web applications

Data Deduplication has been used which is a technique to eliminate the duplicate copies of data. This technique has been used in cloud storage so the storage space decreases and uploads the bandwidth. If there are large number of users who own the same file, only a single copy of the file is stored in the cloud storage. This is how storage utilization is improved which but reduces reliability. Privacy of sensitive data is also at stake. To overcome the security issue, this paper tries to propose a distributed and reliable deduplication system which will have higher reliability in which the data chunks will not only be stored in a single server but will be distributed across multiple cloud servers. Instead of using convergent encryption, a deterministic secret sharing scheme in distributed storage systems is introduced which handles the security requirements of data confidentiality and also the tag consistency. Based on security analysis, our deduplication systems are secure. The incurred overhead is very less in real environments.
