Abstract:

Smartphones are undoubtedly becoming ubiquitous. Malware has been a serious issue for smartphones and continuing advancing. Traditional defense mechanisms to malware, are not suitable for smartphones due to their resource intensive constraints. This made the malware to spread enormously all over the smartphone users. In this paper, we present the TWR (Tap-Wave-Rub) enhanced android application permission model which incorporates the denied access for the smartphones malware. And also the developing android application TWRDROID will review the permissions of apps and users can find whether it is malicious or not. It can remove the malicious applications. This paper is designed to enhance the security features of the android especially in the permission-based access control of the android application. This Android application will make the users who are prompted to deny or grant individual permissions to an application which needed for the first time. The proposed approach will be very effective for malware detection/prevention with low False Negative Rate and False Positive Rate, while imposing little to no additional burden on the smartphone users.

Abstract:

Mobile Ad hoc network is dynamic network because it has moving nodes and also do not have any fixed infrastructure to operate. In MANET routing protocol used to provide a path from source node to destination node. Mobile Ad hoc have some security problems and also network congestion, Packet loss and packet delay. To avoid these difficulties using clustering framework in Mobile ad hoc network and also to avoid packet transmission delay, network congestion and packet loss. Packet based admission control scheme provides Quality of service and evaluate the address of the new arrival packet. To analyze the performance of routing protocols in clustered ad hoc networks, the proposed approach introduces the new Mobility Identity Connectivity based clustering algorithm for cluster formation and comparative study has been made on the routing protocols through simulation thus finding the efficient protocol in clustered ad hoc networks.

Abstract:

This paper focus on various Cognitive architectures. These architectures are designed which helps us to understand the basic aspects of cognition. They show the various components involved in it and their flow of control. Cognitive architecture gives us the working model for the various cognitive phenomena. Here we also discuss about the proposed architecture where CST is implemented in Meta thinking layer and by this it could be possible for faster skill acquisition and those skills can be used to solve another problem later.

Abstract:

Data de-duplication is a technique for eliminating duplicate copies of data, and has been widely used in cloud storage to reduce storage space and upload bandwidth. However, there is only one copy for each file stored in cloud even if such a file is owned by a huge number of users. As a result, de-duplication system improves storage utilization while reducing reliability. Furthermore, the challenge of privacy for sensitive data also arises when they are outsourced by users to cloud. Aiming to address the abovesecurity challenges, this paper makes the first attempt to formalize the notion of distributed reliable de-duplication system. We propose new distributed de-duplication systems with higher reliability in which the data chunks are distributed across multiple cloud servers. The security requirements of data confidentiality and tag consistency are also achieved by introducing a deterministic secret sharing scheme in distributed storage systems, instead of using convergent encryption as in previous de-duplication systems. Security analysis demonstrates that our de-duplication systems are secure in terms of the definitions specified in the proposed security model. As a proof of concept, we implement the proposed systems and demonstrate that the incurred overhead is very limited in realistic environments.

Abstract:

Each application have different Qos (quality of service) in same platform on wireless sensor network. We are proposing coldspots technique and multi path relay algorithm using coldspots technique. It improve the data fidelity and end to end delay of the sensitive to overcome problems like delay minimization and high data integrity and data fidelity. By applying a virtual hybrid potential field IDDR separates packets based on their weight. And the packets are forwarded to the destination through different path applications. Data fidelity can be improved by collecting idle buffer space or under loaded paths to cache excessive packets. For prioritizing packets transmission we are using lyapunov drift technique. IDDR also provide good energy efficiency and scalability. Cold spot technique is proposed to identify the idle buffer space under loaded paths and fill those paths by the efficient packets.

Abstract:

The attractive infrastructure-less nature of mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) has gained a lot of attention in the research community. With the success of solving the most basic but important problems in all network layers, people realize there is commercial value in MANETs. Most applications that attract interest for use in current wired networks (e.g., video conferencing, on-line live movies, and instant messenger with camera enabled) would attract interest for MANETs as well. However, ad hoc networks present unique advanced challenges, including the design of protocols for mobility management, effective routing, data transport, security, power management, and QoS provisioning. Once these problems are solved, the practical use of MANETs will be realizable. The overall design of a solution for all of these problems is currently too complex. In this paper, we discussed about supporting quality of service (QoS) in the routing protocols.
